ONL as an institutional course at KI spring 2017

In addition to attending the ONL as open learners, the Unit for Medical Education (UME) offer teachers at KI to participate in the course as a continuation course on pedagogy in higher education equivalent to two weeks of full-time studies. The institutional KI course approaches teachers/supervisors who teach/supervise students at the Karolinska Institutet.

Participants at the ONL KI course attend the open course and certain specified course requirements will have to be completed. The course requirements are basically to follow the open course; participating in a PBL group, regularly writing reflective blog posts and writing a summative final reflection on own learning and future practice. Participants from KI will study in mixed groups with learners from other institutions for the PBL part of the course. KI participants will, in addition to common ONL activities, also form a KI group with opportunities to meet in real life at the KI campuses and there will be a Google+ community with KI specific information and possibilities for discussions.

The ONL KI spring 2017 starts with a face-to-face meeting at Karolinska Institutet (Flemingsberg) at 1 pm 7th February.
The formal start of the open ONL171 is 13 February and the course ends in the end of April.
For further information and application please see the announcement on the KI homepage.
